Phil Slaughter Physical Therapy is located inside Parker’s Place Total Fitness in the Mueller Square Plaza on Wisconsin Avenue (Highway 16) near downtown Oconomowoc.  In a comprehensive fitness center, rehabilitation programs ranging from passive range of motion and gentle manual therapy and modalities may be progressed as appropriate to full strengthening and endurance training.

Patients receive one on one treatment with a licensed physical therapist with extensive clinical experience and board certification as an orthopedic clinical specialist.

PSPT was started to provide patients with the highest level of physical therapy care that can be found.  My treatment philosophy emphasizes prompt start of care, consistent follow up appointments, effective physician communication and patient education.  Patients are taught methods to manage symptoms and protect healing tissues as well as how to manage the injury while improving strength and tolerance to activity.  Therapeutic exercises are individually tailored to optimize progression of mobility and strength while conforming to the needs of tissue healing.  To ensure a coordinated treatment plan physicians receive timely reports outlining objective findings and plan of care recommendation as well as ongoing progress reports.
